We are currently partnering with Wellways Australia who are national leaders in peer-delivered educational programs. We are looking for a PhD student to work on an exciting program of research developing and researching a program for women with mental health problems associated with a significant history of trauma and adversity, including complex trauma. 

As our PhD student, you will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders in the mental health industry, with a national provider of services, and with academics and other PhD students at Swinburne’s new Centre for Mental Health. We expect that the project will give experience of using a number of research methods involved in the development and trialling of new mental health interventions.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• A degree in psychology, a health-related discipline, or other relevant discipline
• Existing knowledge and/or experience in mental health
• Strong interpersonal and team-working skills
