About the job
We have a newly created position within our Finance team for an experienced Systems Accountant. In this role, you will support the Finance team and collaborate with our IT Finance Systems team to provide a range of quality financial data management services with respect to forecasting, budgeting and reporting. Using your keen attention to detail, you will ensure that accurate data is available in the finance system, manage the month end systems close and maintain the forecast and budget versions and parameters. Pivotal to your success in this role is your ability to act as the conduit between Finance and Finance Systems to ensure any system changes are carried out effectively. You demonstrate a strong customer focus in your daily interactions with your team and stakeholders. 

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

• A degree in an accounting/finance or other relevant discipline with subsequent relevant knowledge and experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training

• Relevant knowledge, experience and expertise in providing quality finance, accounting and budgetary services.

• High level analytical, investigative and problem solving skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify trends/issues
