About the job
The Swinburne Research Office is on a transformational journey to build and develop its capability to best practice standards. In line with the University’s Research and Innovation Strategy 2020, five Research Institutes have been created that will transform our approach to research and engagement. A Director and Deputy Director have been appointed for each Institute. In the role of Executive Assistant (EA), you will primarily support 2-3 Institute Directors directly. This will include providing day-to-day operational support in the management of research related relationships across the University and externally by providing a high level of executive support. Working as part of a team, you will also ensure a high level of collaborative team focused support and service to senior leaders.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Demonstrated relevant experience in the provision of high quality executive support and project coordination support at a senior leadership level

• Demonstrated ability to be proactive and show initiative, work independently with minimal supervision and be an effective team member

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to senior leaders, internal and external stakeholders
