About the department
The Strategy and Commercial unit plays a pivotal role to meet the challenges and opportunities the University faces and to deliver on the University-wide 2025 Vision. 

About the job
Our Strategy and Commercial department are currently seeking a Director of Strategy to lead their team and manage our strategy for a 12-month period. As we continue to evolve and adapt to the changing landscape of the Higher Education Sector, our Director of Strategy will play a key role in championing, leading and continually improving the University’s investment decision processes in line with the Strategy. 

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in the development of strategies and/or strategic initiatives including measurable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to think ‘big picture’, possess an understanding of contemporary issues and engage with the organisation to inform the development of progressive strategies.
  • A post-graduate degree in business, management or a relevant combination of qualifications, training and significant experience.
