About the job
Our Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology is looking for a proactive Research Coordinator to join their busy Central Faculty Office. In this role, you will be required to perform a range of significant research-related activities that play a key role in supporting the delivery of research outcomes. Such activities include travel booking, committee servicing, purchasing and grant administration; and the collection and verification of research output data.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
• Completion of a bachelor degree with extensive relevant executive administration experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels, both internal and external to the University with tact and appreciation of sensitive issues.
• Highly proficient computer skills, in particular MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data management systems and database applications.
• Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills, including the ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies, strategies and procedures within a complex environment.
