About the job
As our Senior Research Fellow, you will contribute significantly to research and innovation at Swinburne in relation to future blockchain technology development. You will undertake research into blockchain technologies to investigate practical issues such as fintech applications, supply chain, Internet of Things, e-health, trade and exchange platforms, and cryptocurrencies. As part of the role, you will also be involved in supporting and furthering partnerships with industry for mutual benefit and potential commercialization. You will also contribution to the operation and management of the university’s blockchain innovation lab.
With your track record of research output, you will establish yourself as a future leader in blockchain research pursuing funding opportunities such as grant-funded Fellowships and contract research to establish yourself as independent researcher.
About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cryptography or relevant fields
• Demonstrated capability and track record of publication in conducting high impact research in computer science, software engineering,
• Extensive knowledge in blockchain technologies.
