Transgender Victoria was founded in the late 1990s to achieve justice, equity, and quality health and community service provision for trans and gender diverse (TGD) people, their partners, families and friends. Together with queerspace (operating out of drummond street services), Transgender Victoria is seeking a Senior Project Leader to manage an new and important project.
This groundbreaking pilot seeks to build on any existing evidence of family violence experiences for trans and gender diverse (TGD) people, and develop prevention interventions might help reduce these impacts, including the development of models of healthy relationships for TGD people. The Senior Project Manager will manage a small team and work in close partnership with all parties, including consulting with TGD communities.

A minimum of 3 years experience in project management
Excellent time- and information management skills
Experience in program design, delivery and evaluation
Experience in working with either family violence, or LGBTIQ communities
Strong interpersonal skills, experience with vulnerable populations highly regarded
Knowledge of research methods
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Collegiate approach, thrives in working with others
Experience in stakeholder engagement
Demonstrable ability with problem solving
Qualification in Social Work, Psychology or similar
Lived experience of trans or gender diverse
Experience in working with family violence in LGBTIQ communities
