We invite an enthusiastic and professional Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute to the experimental research within the ARC Centre of Excellence for Future Low-Energy Electronics Technologies (FLEET) at Swinburne University of Technology. The objectives of the Swinburne node of FLEET are to realise and explore non-equilibrium topological phenomena in atomic and condensed matter systems. In this position you will be required to design and conduct experimental studies of dissipationless transport and non-equilibrium phenomena in ultracold gases of fermionic atoms. This work will contribute towards the broader understanding of the capabilities of topological matter for use in future electronics technologies.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have will obtained a Bachelor degree in Physics or relevant field and PhD (awarded) or thesis submitted in Physics or relevant field. You must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge cold-atom experiments, atomic, quantum and optical physics and the ability to plan, design and conduct experiments successfully and safely.
