About the job
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Swinburne Professional team as a Business Development Manager – Corporate Training. The BDM role grows a corporate and government client portfolio through the implementation of a structured business development strategy to reach and exceed revenue targets

Your primary focus will be to:
• Identify sales opportunities for corporate training and professional development by nurturing business relationships with corporate and government clients
• Develop high quality sales proposals responses to tenders and complex pricing models
• Create and manage your sales pipeline
• Generate sales from current clients and develop and grow sales by identifying new business opportunities
• Close new business deals by coordinating, developing and negotiating contracts
• Identify and establish internal and external networks to capitalise on new business opportunities

About you
You will have:
• A proven track record in building and managing client portfolios gained through learning and development solutions, corporate training or the broader education sector
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue and performance targets
• The ability to recognise and capitalise on opportunities through an understanding of corporate and government clients, university and vocational education products, services and educational offerings
• Ability to communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes
