Reporting to the Senior Manager, Graduate Studies, the Team Leader, HDR Candidature and Examinations is responsible for the provision of a wide range of administrative functions to ensure that matters related to research candidature and examinations are handled efficiently and effectively. The Team Leader is responsible for the management and maintenance of the supervisor registration database and the management and documentation of processes related to accreditation, and the dissemination of information related to research candidature, progress review and examinations within Swinburne University.

Skills and Experience 
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
• A degree with substantial subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in administrative fields; or an equivalent combination or relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience in research education and research administration at an Australian Tertiary education level. 
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and applying policies and procedures in line with university compliance. 
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach and lead staff in high performing teams to achieve exceptional results.
