About the job
The position is to primarily provide project coordination and research support for an NHMRC project led by A/Prof Sunil Bhar entitled - ELders AT Ease Program (ELATE): A cluster randomised controlled trial of a sustainable and scalable mental health service for Australian residential aged care facilities. This project involves the delivery and evaluation of cognitive-behavioral therapy to older adults living in residential aged care settings.

The appointee will be responsible for coordinating the project to ensure that the project achieves its milestones. This role also involves development of resources for the project, coordinating the research team, training new research team members, liaison with aged care facilities, and other project coordinating duties as directed by the Project Leader. This position will commence in January 2019 and will end in December 2021 with an extension to the position possible, depending on project progress.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Doctoral qualification in psychology or related healthcare services degree.
• Experience in coordinating research projects with evidence of successful outcomes
• Demonstrated high standard of written skills applicable to ethics applications and manuscript drafting
