About The Role

Role Location: 75 Dorcas Street, South Melbourne VIC 3205

Role Type: Permanent

Shift Schedule: We have flexible work options and rotating roster to compliment your lifestyle. The contact centre operates on a Monday to Sunday schedule with a rotating start time between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.


Note: Start date for the role is on 14 January 2019.


ANZ’s Contact Centre is based in a vibrant open-plan office, with a diverse team environment. We work in close-knit, energetic teams, and like to combine achieving results with fun, hence the various social events our employees participate in – including volunteer days, internal social events and business-casual Fridays.


This is a customer-focused role in a high performing team providing superior service and sales support to existing and potential ANZ customers in a call centre environment. A strong emphasis on problem solving, customer care, modern technology and ANZ values drive us to deliver beyond our customers’ expectations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-

  • Telephone and written communication skills - including the ability to engage and manage conversations over the phone and via email
  • Ability to manage through multiple computer systems and can cope with ANZ’s evolving Technology
  • Previous experience in Customer Service and sales environments which could include Retail and/or Hospitality
  • Experience with working towards targets
  • Contact Centre experience is not essential, but it is important to be a natural 'people person' with a great phone manner
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality that likes to “think on your feet”
