About the job
The Accelerator Program Director will be responsible for operational delivery and continuous development of Swinburne’s innovation ecosystem, including the accelerator and incubator programs. This critical role, will act as the go-to person for accelerator residents and be responsible for the operational management of the soon to be launched 16-week intensive program. Working with a small team you will lead the initiation and coordination of recruitment campaigns through to handholding successful start-ups to the next stage of their development and incubation.
Working closely with the Innovation Precinct Management executive team you will form and leverage a credible network of internal and external stakeholders comprising of entrepreneurs, risk capital investors, government funding agencies, and leading national and international accelerator/incubator programs. Using these networks, they will be responsible for populating a healthy pipeline of start-up development events and workshops, pairing up external mentors with accelerator residents, and organising investor pitch events, among others.

With strong program management, you will be able to lead the day to day operations, including supporting the needs of tenant businesses, coaches, external mentors, entrepreneurs-in-residence, and internal stakeholders. With outstanding verbal and written communication skills you will thrive working with complex internal and external stakeholders. With demonstrated ability to drive a program forward, in a fast environment, you will be ready to make an impact.
