About the job
As our Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will be involved in a range of activities including, but not limited to, high impact research output in external and industry-based research funding. You will contribute to the development of a research agenda in the Iverson Health Innovation Research Institute and Department of Behavioural Science in Cancer at Peter Mac. As a collaborative team player, you will be a member of an interdisciplinary team in order to help the Iverson Health Innovation Research Institute and Department of Behavioural Science in Cancer at Peter Mac to achieve their objectives. In addition to this, you be expected to carry out appropriate activities that will maintain and develop your own scholarly, research and/or professional expertise and in particular act as supervisor of Honours, PhD and other postgraduate students from Swinburne University.
This is a 3 year fixed term contract and is co-located at the Hawthorn campus of Swinburne University in Hawthorn and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Parkville.
About you
Having gained your doctoral qualification in a health related research area, you will have a growing track record in research, and be well on your way in developing your own research agenda. You will be competent in a range of methodologies both quantitative and qualitative, with a focus on (but not restricted to) health psychology, behavioural science and public health.
