We invite an enthusiastic and professional Research Officer to contribute to research and development of of functional optoelectronic devices through the study on nanostructure optimization. The Research Officer will investigate the design, optimization and fabrication of photonic nanostructures and functional optoelectronic devices, and characterize their performance based on recent advancement in nanophotonics research at Swinburne University of Technology's Centre for Micro-Photonics. In addition to the day to day, this position will require contributions to the Centre’s research output in high impact publications
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD in Physics, Engineering, Material Science or related discipline. You must be able to demonstrate your expertise on Finite Element Method analysis on photonic crystal micro/nanostructures.
