We invite an enthusiastic and professional Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute to research and development of graphene supercapacitors with the aim of developing a commercially valid prototype of supercapacitor batteries. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will work in the Centre for Micro-Photonics and design electrode materials for electrochemical supercapacitors, and contribute to the development of a large scale film synthesis process with well-controlled properties. In addition to the day to day running of the experiments, this position will require contributions to the Centre’s research output in high impact publications

About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD in Materials Physics and Chemistry or related discipline. You must be able to demonstrate your sound background in nano-structured composites fabrication, including plasma surface alloying/cladding, vacuum deposition, self-assembly, electrospinning and electrophoretic deposition
