About the Opportunity 
This position is within Swinburne Business School. The School is committed to delivering excellent education courses, quality research with impact and engagement activities with deep industry connections. The School’s mission is to advance innovation, entrepreneurship and social impact through its career-ready graduates and industry-engaged research.

As an Associate Professor/Professor you will conduct research, obtain research funding, conduct teaching (on campus and online), supervise masters by research and PhD students, and take on leadership duties in the School.

As a candidate for the Associate Professor position, you will have a PhD in the relevant discipline and have academic and research leadership experience. You will have a nationally and/or internationally recognised research record as evidenced in an extensive range of research publications in high-quality journals, a proven ability to foster collaborative research outcomes among colleagues, and active industry engagement. You will also have a high level of interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.

As a candidate for the Professor position, you will have a PhD in the relevant discipline and have extensive academic and research leadership experience. You will have an internationally recognised research record as evidenced in an extensive range of research publications in high-quality journals, a proven ability to foster collaborative research outcomes among colleagues, and active industry engagement. You will also have a high level of interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.

The position is expected to participate in activities for the development of closer and stronger links with the profession, industry and professional bodies in Australia and internationally.
