LGBTQI+ inclusion

Championing LGBTQI+ inclusion in the workplace and beyond, our Pride at Coles network connects queer team members and their allies across the country. Our Pride network celebrates LGTBQI+ days of significance such as IDAHOBIT and Wear it Purple, raising awareness and funds for community organisations.

Coles offers LGBTQI+ awareness and ally training to all team members and have dedicated leadership programs for our Pride network leads. Our People policies and team member benefits are gender neutral and inclusive of all team members. Coles is proud to be the Presenting Partner with Sydney WorldPride 2023 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras until 2025.

We’re proud of the network we’ve developed at Coles for our LGBTQI+ community and Allies. Our Pride steering committee, led by senior leaders at Coles, sets the strategy and works hard to ensure we have the right training and capability, systems and processes and community engagement to build an inclusive workplace in every community we operate in. At the state level, we have active networks led by our LGBTQI+ team members who drive local activity, participate in internal and external events, and provide local support and Allyship to all team members.
