Bar Venue Manager

We are seeking a Bar Venue Manager to lead and coordinate operational functions across our 5 bar venues. As the leader of our Bar Venues, you will be responsible for employee development and delivering on performance objectives. This is an opportunity for someone to take ownership of our beverage team, providing strong leadership to encourage your team and support the success of the department.

What does it take to lead these venues?

• Clear leadership across operational functions of bar venues to support department priorities
• Be accountable for the development, implementation, and evaluation of service standards to ensure they meet organisational standards
• Recommend strategies to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager to increase loyalty of guests and maximise revenue
• Develop team members and complete all people planning requirements including recruitment support, training, development and performance management
• Extensive knowledge of liquors/cocktails, bartending, and bar service protocols

What are we looking for?

• Someone who values relationships with people and contributing to the growth of their team
• Ability to plan and resource for people and products, while handling labour costs and operating expenses
• Experience in Sports Bar operations including TAB
• A bar/beverage background running multiple bar venues is highly desirable
• Current RMLV and RSA
