About the role

You will support the development and implementation of various performance & reward initiatives across the University ensuring alignment to RMIT’s strategy.  You will also be responsible for the delivery of cyclical annual performance and reward activities, and other project work to support the wider team. 

You will;

  • Develop and implement performance and reward initiatives ensuring affordability, staff engagement, and alignment to market best practice
  • Co-ordinate the annual performance review, salary review and incentive plan processes
  • Develop Council and Executive Committee Reward papers recommending a position or action to be taken
  • Support practices including market benchmarking, classification review, salary survey submissions and reviews and RMIT’s recognition & benefits platform

 

About you

You will have;

  • Experience in supporting remuneration, performance and staff benefits function in a large complex organisation
  • Experience working with remuneration fundamentals such as job evaluation, market data, benchmarking and remuneration surveys. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in the preparation, submission and presentation of Remuneration and Reward papers
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and interpret data relating to the employee lifecycle, linking it back to performance and salary
