About the role

As the Coordinator, Student Records you will be responsible for providing a high level of service and expertise to a range of student lifecycle activities, such as: the administration of enrolments and student records across all RMIT onshore cohorts, providing supervision and guidance for staff in the delivery of student administration processes across RMIT and development of a range of documentation to cover both existing and new processes, procedures and practices related to student enrolment.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality student administration services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, including ability to tailor communication styles to diverse audiences and respond appropriately to sensitive information and situations
  • Proven initiative and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to quickly extract the priority issues and take action without specific direction where appropriate and ability to advise management of potential for policy and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes through the monitoring and review of procedures in a business process and service-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated strong written communication skills via web-pages, email bulletins, online conversation threads, reports, advisory notes and PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to use a range of information and communication technologies effectively including: Microsoft Office software packages, web & email software, database use and management

Qualifications

Degree in relevant discipline and/or significant experience required.
