Come play an integral role in the delivery of the Masters of Dietetics at Swinburne University.

About the Job
As a Lecturer, Dietetics you will contribute to the development and delivery of the Masters of Dietetics course and participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development of units offered by the Discipline.

Drawing upon your experience within the field and using blended models of unit delivery you will develop and deliver units and work with existing placement partners as well as establish new placement partnerships.

The ideal candidate is committed to, and enthusiastic about developing the Dietetics profile at Swinburne. You have a passion for leading, innovating and embracing diversity and will ultimately enrich the opportunities of colleagues and students within the Discipline of Dietetics which is based in the Department of Nursing and Allied Health.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Recognised degree in dietetics (from an accredited Australian program or qualifications recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia if overseas educated), and eligibility for credentialing via the Accredited Practising Dietitian program.
• Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching including a record of teaching and curriculum development in dietetics/nutrition.
• A high degree of organisational and administrative skills and capacity to contribute to management of course and program delivery.
• Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal and communication skills including resourcefulness, initiative and the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
