About You

Known internally as Process Analyst, your primary purpose will be to assist teams across RMIT to embed operating model changes in 2021. This includes working on the development, implementation and capability building of process documentation and management disciplines. You will do this by applying your expertise of working in cross-functional teams, developing and implementing operational programs and capability/upskill mechanisms, and working with a diverse set of teams across RMIT to implement these solutions into their work functions.

Additionally, this will include process documentation and management in the Nintex Promapp solution, as well as Nintex Promapp system administration for the Process@RMIT program.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrated experience in business process mapping, business process re-engineering and/or business analysis.
  • Experience working within operational teams that perform cross-functional service delivery.
  • Experience in performing process documentation and management activities in cross-functional areas.
  • Past involvement in developing and implementing overarching program structures for cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and delivering capability artefacts and providing upskilling services.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, and analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Previous experience using Nintex Promapp, preferred.

Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma trained or accredited certification equivalent, preferred.

Housed within Enterprise Projects and Business Performance group, the Continuous Improvement team provide an integrated approach to strategy execution, planning, project governance, and optimising student and staff experience and uplifting business capability. We do this by:

  • Engaging in improvement initiatives across the enterprise to deliver value, efficiency gains and targeted fast outcomes.
  • Embedding resources and capability within large scale projects.
  • Developing and providing best practice tools and methods to support simple, continuous improvement practices.
  • Mentoring, training, and coaching to develop local capability in continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Partnering with other services providers to form the right multidisciplinary teams to get the job done.
  • Advocating and supporting process maturity and excellence across the university through our Process@RMIT program, expert guidance, tools, frameworks and capability development.
