We are currently looking to recruit a part time Disability Development & Support Officers (DDSO1/1Q) for the house team, situated in Clayton. In this role you will be responsible for providing a tailored service for people with disabilities, across their life cycle and in all domains of life, to enable access to a life of dignity, respect, and social inclusion in the least restrictive environment
We are looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Clayton in this rewarding Part -Time opportunity. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Plans including personal care.
As the successful applicant in this role you will work to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with and for the 5 clients within the house. This role involves working with clients with some behaviours of concern.
The house profile: The house is close to a local church, public transport, major arterials, and shopping precincts including Princes Highway Reserve. Assistance and support are required with meal planning and preparation, domestic chores, and community access. The residents enjoy a range of activities both within the house and in the community.
This role is part-time ongoing. The roster details are outlined as hours per fortnight below:

This roster contains a combination of some mornings with mostly afternoon shifts with no sleepovers or active nights.
