Business Resilience Manager 

What’s your mission?
Ensure we are prepared for and guiding the response to a disruptive and significant event which could have a material impact. Actively engage across ANZx to provide business continuity advisory, governance as well as crisis management capabilities and responses.

What will your day look like?

  • Coordinate the business continuity strategy, framework and governance for the ANZx program
  • Completion of business impact assessments, business continuity plans and crisis management plans
  • Coordinate the completion of Asset Criticality Assessments, Disaster Recovery Plans and Business Verification Plans for ANZx owned assets.
  • Evaluate the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery capabilities of 3rd Party Suppliers engaged by ANZx, including supplier contract assessments against CPS232 requirements
  • Educate and guide the program for resilience including analytical assessments, training, testing and exercises
  • Review and challenge the plans, strategies and tests that are conducted – make us match fit
  • Provide support in delivering crisis management capabilities as required during disruptive events
  • Work with ANZx teams to ensure better practice in business continuity and opportunities to improve

What will be in your toolkit?

  • A passion and strong expertise in business continuity or crisis management
  • Demonstrated experience running workshops, understanding business unit (value stream) requirements and developing plans off the back of frameworks that suit a need.
  • A track record owning end to end delivery of your work
  • Knowledge of business continuity standards - an understanding of CPS232 and ISO 22313 is highly desirable. Any fin services is helpful
  • You may have a background in incident management, business operations, operational risk. We’re not necessarily looking for at tech risk background.

We envisage that the first 6 months of this role will predominantly be building out the plans. We’re seeking a hands on “nothing is too much trouble” partnering approach to your work.
