This is a permanent part-time opportunity working across the following days and times
Foyer Central is Unitings bold social impact investment program in partnership with St George Community Housing Social venture Australia. The program provides young people with a lived experience in Out of Home Care (OOHC), independent housing with a supporting team of Youth Development Coaches.
Based in Chippendale in Sydney's CBD, this role is responsible for working with young people aged 18-22 years who have a lived experience of out of home care. Working 4 days/week on a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts may be required.
You will provide supervision and support to young people, providing opportunities to enhance their everyday living activities, education and employment opportunities, health and wellbeing with a focus on transitioning to independent living over a 2 year period.
The Youth Development Coach will be part of a highly skilled team who share a commitment to working collaboratively to ensure the Foyer Central framework of Advantage Thinking is embedded within the program.
