About The Role

Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: 12 Months Fixed Term

Reporting to the Financial Crime Oversight Lead, your role is part of ANZ’s Financial Crime Governance & Oversight team that sits within the Financial Crime Portfolio.  The oversight team is responsible for globally assessing and determining if financial crime risks are present and providing a view of the level of risk as well as providing support to improve the management of those risks identified.

This includes working with and supporting senior oversight managers with activities from testing of data to identify or confirm issues, reporting writing, information gathering and surveying ANZ locations, interacting with financial crime and other staff in those locations. The oversight function is responsible for ensuring the Financial Crime Leadership team is made aware of any potential unacceptable risks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Financial crime or assurance knowledge
  • Scoping, planning and execution of thematic reviews.
  • Strong results and customer focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Broad based Compliance experience including experience in dealing with regulators and/or government agencies
  • Establish collaborative working relationships and be able to build strong collaboration and networks both internally and externally
