About the Role

Role Location: Australia, location flexible

Role Type: Full time role, 12 Month fixed-term opportunity 

Working as part of the Strategic Delivery Team, this role will be responsible for the design and delivery of a robust communication strategy for the Commercial Transformation Program. The role will also provide support to the Commercial + Private Banking Leadership Team to assist in communication activities that will assist in embedding the Transformation Program, as well as collaborating with other communications teams across the division.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead and deliver clearly defined communication activities and plans to specified timelines and within agreed budgets.
• Proactively develop and implement communication programs and plans that support the business objectives of Commercial + Private Banking Transformation Program
• Apply best practice communications knowledge and practice including contributing ideas, solutions and approaches to improve the effectiveness of Commercial + Private Banking Leadership Team
• Communication activities provide clarity of messages and direction for our people and encourage a culture of open, honest two-way communication across ANZ.
• Work collaboratively with team members and other communications teams to improve knowledge of the external and internal business environment and to share communications expertise and experience
• Support respective leadership teams with developing an effective communication strategy to provide updates to the business, as well as relevant stakeholder groups

About You

• Ability to produce, consult and follow through on communications plans and strategies
• Commercial thinker, able to demonstrate in-depth customer insight and act on opportunities
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage providing clear recommendations to senior executives in an informative manner
• Competent communication, facilitation, interpersonal skills including a high level of influencing ability
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and to quickly gain trust and confidence
• A flexible, reflective and adaptable working style (able to work in ambiguous, fast paced and cross-functional team environments)
• Are team-oriented, and actively foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment
