About the Role
RMIT Activator is the centre of innovation and Entrepreneurial gravity at RMIT, leveraging the incredible assets of the premier University of design, technology and enterprise to create enduring impact.
At our core, were a group of mavericks committed to pushing the edges of entrepreneurial education and building a community of the most ambitious founders, intrapreneurs and partners built on this shared impact vision.
Were like a small startup ourselves, we are comfortable with ambiguity. Things move quickly at Activator, we have a big vision and goals which keep us all united in purpose, but how we get there is open to rapid change and experimentation.
This role is very much for an all-rounder who is passionate about startups, who will work across our community and startup programming and experiences. You will have an unrivalled chance to meet and learn from and develop successful founders, activate a wealth of talent in the Activator and RMIT community including business executives and leading investors from around the world.
The Community & Startup Programs Coordinator brings together four critical elements in achieving this:
By achieving this youll be responsible for creating an amazing experience for our community by providing a collaborative, fun and engaging space that supports their objectives and goals. As part of a dynamic and motivated team, you will deliver all required activities to ensure effective, efficient and excellent operations in our community and startup programs. This role also delivers regular events and programs and is always ready to roll up their sleeves to provide best in class support services that empower and inspire innovators and entrepreneurs.
Youll also be responsible for running a systematic way for founders, alumni and stakeholders to get exposed to RMIT Activator through working to scale our Talent Collective initiative.
