Are you passionate about working closely with tertiary student leaders to develop their skills and experience through student-driven projects? Do you have a track record of developing opportunities that build the knowledge and networks of aspiring leaders?
A rare opportunity exists to join the Student Life team at Swinburne, driving co-curricular experiences for students to develop their leadership and employability.
Our leadership program is newly established, with a number of pilots under our belt, and supporting systems and procedures in place. Your will ensure a range of opportunities are available for students to develop their employability skills, using your expertise and what we have learned to guide your next steps.
We’re looking for an ambitious individual who can help us take the program to the next level. In particular, you will:
• Evolve, implement and evaluative activities that build student leadership competency
• Mentor student representatives, with practical advice on navigating the university context and meaningful engagement with peers
• Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program outcomes

This role is anticipated to be working from home 2-5 days per week for the remainder of 2021, and is otherwise based across our Melbourne campuses (Hawthorn, Croydon, and Wantirna).

To be successful in the role, you will have experience in:
• leadership program design and delivery
• mentoring people from diverse backgrounds
• managing projects from idea to evaluation
• relationship management skills
• seeing the big picture and translating it to your work and targets
