As an Advanced Disability Support Officer in this residential home in Clayton you will be responsible for 2IC support to the House Supervisor by providing leadership and guidance to staff and direct client support to a mixed client group. The successful applicant will need to be actively involved within the house due to the many activities the clients are involved in.
You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Plans including personal care. In this role you will work to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with and for the clients within the house. This role involves working with 6 people and showering/personal care is needed but manual handling is at a minimum: linking arms in community is generally height of manual handling.
This is a full-time ongoing position, the roster details outlined as fortnightly hours is detailed below:

This roster is a mixture of day and afternoon shifts with 2 sleep-over shifts per month and you will be rostered to work every 2nd weekend.
