About the Job
Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to take on the Career Consultant – Equity role in a small project teamto be responsible for the design, development, and coordination of career development services across the university, focused on equity cohorts. This position is responsible for the delivery of career development through various modes including 1 to 1 support; in-curriculum and WIL support The Employability Team at Swinburne is in an exciting phase directly supporting the Swinburne Horizon 2025 strategic plan.

About you
It is essential that you are able to bring the the following to the team:
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Career Development theories and frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and manage careers activities in a variety of modes which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs, ideally from equity cohorts
• Demonstrate sound project co-ordination experience.
• Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, healthy and safe careers counselling environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of
students and clients.
