What we are looking for

We are seeking a Scheduling Team Leader to join our Workforce Planning & Analysis Team based in Sydney.

Reporting to the Workforce Planning Manager, you will lead, mentor and train a team of schedulers in charge of daily operations across a multi business unit operation of over 4000 employees. The key focus for you and your team will be to manage the daily operations of the business which includes right resources at the right place at the right time.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a 24/7 scheduling environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to craft positive and productive working relationships with your team and key internal stakeholders
  • Familiarity with enterprise agreements and leading small to medium team sizes
  • Experience with rostering systems
  • Experience in creating and modifying processes as required to ensure a high degree of compliance with industrial agreements
  • Supervisory skills with a focus on developing, mentoring and guiding team members
  • Knowledge of payroll systems is a plus (SAP. Oracle)
