An opportunity to join the People and Culture Department in a new position to drive the implementation of the workforce integration plan to embed Gender Impact Assessments (GIA) into business as usual.


As a Gender Impact Advisor you will:

  • Support the implementation of Gender Equity Action Plan (GEAP) initiatives
  • Develop engaging communications, reports, toolkits and training on all aspects related to GIA’s
  • Work with staff across the organisation to provide best practice advice, guidance and coaching 
  • Build Stonnington’s Gender Impact Advisory Network, and relationships with external organisations

This is a temporary employment opportunity over a 12 month period, working 30.4 hours per week with flexibility for how that is worked, and hybrid working from home arrangements. The annual salary range at these part time hours is $70,928.87 to $76,816.56, or $44.86 to $48.59 per hour, + 10% superannuation.

For such a critical position, we’re seeking someone passionate, personable and experienced in:

  • Delivering initiatives that improve gender equality or other diversity, equity and inclusion outcomes
  • Developing strong relationships and networks
  • Delivering projects, with success in collaboration, engagement and meeting deadlines 
  • Presenting engaging and informative communications, documents, reports, presentations and trainings
