About the Scholarship
As part of Swinburne’s exciting Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2) project, this scholarship would suit a PhD candidate with Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechatronics background with programming experience and a deep understanding of microgrids. We are seeking people who wish to work at the nexus of humans and technology, and who have the aptitude to undertake solution-focused research as part of a broader multidisciplinary research team.

The specific focus of this PhD position is to design and implement of a smart and hybrid adapter for renewable hydrogen plant equipment such as electrolyser and fuel cell to support uninterruptible hydrogen production and consumption in a renewable hydrogen plant. About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • A master’s degree in Electronic and Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechatronics Engineering or relevant field
  • Research experience in the areas of renewable energy and microgrids.
  • Demonstrated expertise in electrical circuit design and control.
