What you'll be doing

 

As the Business Analyst - Marketing and Loyalty Finance, you'll deliver accurate reporting and forecasting to senior stakeholders across the business. Pro-actively drive process improvement across this space through the change agenda/transformation programme within finance focusing on simplifying our business with improved ways of working.

 

You'll partner with specific Marketing teams to identify commercial opportunities and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to ensure people and process controls are upheld; including upskilling business teams on commercial acumen.  And conduct analytical problem solving on strategic issues by providing analytical support to your business partners and the wider finance team identifying opportunities and/or risks to the business. Identify trends and relationships to determine the drivers of business performance.  In addition you'll build clear, concise financial models to analyse complex data sets; and presentation tools to support and enable effective business partnering and business accountability

 

 

Good things you'll need

 

  • CA/CPA qualification and 5+ years’ experience post degree
  • Strong analytical skills involving simplification of complex (and sometimes ambiguous) financial information for financial and non-financial stakeholders. With proven ability to interrogate data and financial systems to extract and manipulate data.
  • Strong focus on controls and attention to detail whilst working at pace. An innate ability and improvement mindset to simplify and automate processes and analysis
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and innovative thinking, with exposure to delivering successful outcomes in commercial environments.
  • Concrete understanding of accounting principles. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data and effectively present findings.
  • Knowledge of SAP and TM1 preferred but not essential #LI-FIN
