About the role

The Investor Relations function is responsible for the effective two?way communication between Coles and the financial community including institutional investors, retail investors and sell side analysts.  The position also requires the candidate to partner with relevant internal stakeholders, including members of the ELT, on all aspects of investor relations and communications to influence outcomes, support decision making and deliver results

What you'll be doing

This position reports to the Head of Investor Relations and key responsibilities include:

•  
• Preparation of results releases and investor presentations for external release (ASX), including preparation of supporting documentation such as Q&A, to ensure continuous disclosure requirements
• Ownership of shareholder targeting and investor roadshow for CEO and CFO following results announcements and Chairman ahead of the Annual General Meeting
• Accountable for managing external relationships with sell-side analysts, Coles shareholders and key investor targets including management and tracking of sell-side analyst consensus

Good things you'll need

• Prior experience in investor relations, accounting, finance
• Commerce, finance, law, accounting or business degree
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information
• Experience in working in a team environment with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Experience in preparing high-quality presentations, papers and reports to support key decisions and recommendations
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities and expectations #LI-FIN
