About the role

The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.

 

As part of Coles Smarter Selling strategy we have multiple strategic projects which are utilising technology to deliver the best possible customer experience. As part of this areas growth we are currently seeking an experienced Transformation Program Manager to lead a team and drive the Smarter Selling Strategy.  

 

What you’ll be doing

Partnering with Head of Customer Service and external innovations partners, you will be part of the development and delivery of innovative and strategic projects. Giving and overall enhanced customer experience whilst simplifying operations for our team members

 

You'll also

  • collaborate with multiple stakeholders across operations to develop and deliver the service transformation strategy
  • ensure Smarter Selling initiatives are delivered within budget and in line with overall strategy
  • identify risks, solutions and opportunities to the business and communicate effectively to the key stakeholders  
  • ensure the appropriate level of governance and controls are in place with relation to contractor management, procurement and delivery
  • work closely with store operations, effectively communicating the change agenda and providing subject matter expertise

 

Good things you’ll need

You will be a passionate leader with extensive experience at managing complex programs of transformation, ideally in a retail setting

 

you’ll also need

  • extensive experience leading cross functional projects and managing multiple stakeholders
  • proven track record of implementing innovative processes with impactful results
  • experience managing dynamic teams in a diverse project environment with changing demands
  • proven experience analysing and interpreting data and converting into a presentation for key stakeholders to influence their decision making
  • have a clear vision of the change strategy that is delivered with a high degree of energy and passion
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex problems and solutions to a wide range of stakeholders in an engaging
