About the role

 

As a Value Business Partner, you will be a part of the broader Merchandise Strategy and Transformation team. This position will see you working closely with the Senior Value Manager to ensure all business strategy analysis, reporting and documentation needs are addressed in a timely and accurate manner.

 

What you'll be doing

 

This position will be responsible for collaboratively working with cross functional teams to deliver compelling value plans for our customers. 

 

You'll also:

  • Assist in Value planning process by maintaining an accurate value planning tracker, ensuring all key initiatives are clearly reflected and communicated. 
  • Review and provide insights to the Business Unit teams, to improve EDLP and COL contribution and performance through regular reporting and programmatic initiatives. 
  • Deliver Value Reset category initiatives to embed and drive the overarching value strategy.
  • Responsible for reporting and insights which detail the ROI from promotions and event plans.

 

Good things you’ll need

 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, or similar.
  • Several years’ experience within a similar or category management role, with a strong record of influencing and stakeholder management. 
  • Experience within an FMCG, or fast paced retail environment. 
  • Strong critical thinking, with the ability to leverage data analysis and interpretation to draw out salient insights.  
  • A strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to deal with unplanned challenges, work through obstacles and make sound decisions.
  • Project management experience will be advantageous.
  • The confidence to represent the proceedings/findings in a power-point to senior leadership.
  • A collaborative working style, with outstanding stakeholder management skills.
