About the Role
The House Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the current residential services in the Forest Hill region in Melbourne. This is a hands-on role with most of your time spent on site in the home with allocated administrative days.
You will mentor a team of youth workers in providing purposeful support to young people in residential care with high and complex needs. You will strive to enhance the lives of young people in the residential setting, incorporating a therapeutic, trauma informed approach within the daily structure and purposeful programming.
There is a strong emphasis on leading your team to provide a secure base for our young people within the home, liaising with culturally appropriate services, and providing opportunities for the young people to connect with the culture in which they identify within.
This is a permanent role with working days of Monday to Friday. There would be rostered on call cover required (This is shared amongst House Managers).
