About the Role
Come join a highly collaborative and supportive team as our new Senior Communications Advisers. We are seeking two dynamic individuals to act as editorial leads in creating engaging and purposeful content and communications for the university’s staff, students and external audiences.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, External Communications, they will contribute to the achievement of the university’s goals through the planning, development and execution of content for the university’s key communications channels.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the university, including with the university’s academic and professional portfolios, the Senior Communications Advisers maintains effective professional relationships with internal stakeholders, working to achieve our communications objectives.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated excellence in communications strategy and planning.
- Excellent content production and editorial skills combined with an ability to work under time pressure to produce high quality communications materials.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to identify and analyse emerging opportunities with respect to their communication needs.
Qualifications
Completion of a tertiary qualification with substantial relevant experience in corporate (external and internal) communications, PR, media, social media or a related field.
