About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the Systems Configuration Analyst role within our Digital Workplace Experience team. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment of the Swinburne Standard Operating Environment on the various operating systems and platforms supported; desktop, server, mobile and virtual.

You will be required to provide a high level of client driven service specifically with respect to ensuring the installation and configuration of user hardware and software is fit for purpose, effectively meeting client needs. The System Configuration Analyst works in a team environment within the Digital Workplace Experience team and actively participates in a continuous service improvement program.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a flexible and friendly environment and collaborate with individuals who are passionate about contributing to the delivery of our 2025 Strategic Plan.

The position will work across all campuses of the University as required.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
  • Demonstrated experience in servicing and managing various operating systems for client computers in a large scale network environment (especially Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Demonstrated experience using device management solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune or Jamf.
  • Demonstrated experience in the administration of a Citrix virtual environment.
  • Proven comprehensive knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Experience in the administration of a Microsoft Active Directory network environment.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.
  • Relevant industry certification (Microsoft and Apple) is preferable.
