Reporting to the Group Manager Architecture & Engineering, alongside four of your direct reports, you will be working towards the continued success of the following below. This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane. No two days will be the same in this dynamic role, however your key responsibilities will involve:

Strategic Business Partner: Ability to translate business strategy, business problems and business opportunities into valuable data & analytics technology investments

Advocacy and Engagement: Provide strong mutual advocacy for technology within assigned platforms portfolio and for business needs within IT, ensuring appropriate business and technology engagement

Shaping Demand: Shaping and managing all business demand from assigned business center of excellence portfolio including facilitation of accurate and comprehensive business cases (as determined by General Manager) and compliance with all IT processes, policies and governance

Delivery Excellence: Support the delivery of projects within the assigned business center of excellence portfolio; Maintain the platforms through BAU activities (maintenance); prioritise backlog of work regarding incidents, BAU and projects

Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute platform technology roadmap supporting/enabling business strategic directions

About You

You are a highly driven and energetic self-starter with a passion for building things from the ground up. You bring extensive in Data & Analytics and an expert in the advocacy and implementation of the Microsoft Suite! You are adaptable but calm under pressure, a talented networker with the ability to develop relationships, create and present of strategic roadmaps for audiences cross divisionally. Technical Competencies At least 10 years of experience in IT, with at least three years’ experience in a business environment, coupled with tertiary level qualifications in Business, Science, Engineering or Economics Minimum seven years’ experience working in an IT environment Familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle Demonstrated extensive experience in strong leadership to business centre of excellence portfolio and IT to enable greater business/IT alignment and partnership
