About the role
We are looking for a Disability Support Worker to assist our male client in Chinchilla. This is a casual position, where you will support our client to maintain his independence in accessing the community, attending appointments and supporting him in activities of daily living. You will need your own transport to get to work, and the client accesses taxi services to transport into the community. Our client is an intelligent and kind man, who enjoys good company and a good chat. Shifts are rotating fortnightly:
Week 1: Monday 12pm - 5pm, Friday 2pm - 5pm
Week 2: Monday 10am - 3pm, Friday 2pm - 5pm
Skills & Experience
To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
