About the role
The Disability Service Leader is critical in providing personalised coaching and mentoring for Disability Support Workers, so they can uplift their skills and knowledge as disability support professionals. You will manage our lifestyle and community supports across the Perth Metro area, ensuring the people we support are enabled to maximise choice and control, and employees are actively supporting services to be safe and compliant.
LWB is a forward-thinking organisation where you will demonstrate your leadership skills and disability sector experience, focusing on strength-based practice and empowerment. This is an exciting time to be a part of implementing the new Practice Framework Active Support and coaching teams to embed and maintain person-centred active support.
This is a permanent full-time position based in our Leederville office.

To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, an NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
