About the role
This opportunity presents a demanding yet deeply fulfilling prospect for you to make a positive change in the lives of people with disability. Experience working independently with complex disability support needs including non-verbal, escalations and behaviours of concerns will be highly regarded.
We are looking for applicants with casual availability to work flexibility on a 24/7 roster. Ability to work overnight shifts including occasional active overnights is essential.
We are also in search of candidates who are interested in gaining permanent part-time employment. Our permanent opportunities range between 20 to 60 hours per fortnight.
Here at life Without Barriers, our goal is to support people in their day-to-day lives by empowering our clients to find their strengths and build their capacity to live independently. The cornerstone of our approach is to offer opportunities for choice, self-expression, and active involvement across all facets of our daily care services. The types of care we provide to our clients may consist of personal care, community access and transportation, medication administration and documenting and progress note keeping.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a minimum of two (2) doses or hold a valid medical exemption certificate, in accordance with Life Without Barriers Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NDIS and Working with Children Checks (where relevant to the role).
