About the Role
The Senior Educator – Early Childhood and Education will implement industry best practice and apply current learning technologies across the suite of course areas including, accredited short courses. In this role, you will have key responsibility to lead and work collaboratively within a team of education professionals to plan deliver, assess, evaluate, and ensure compliance of high-quality education and training programs. This role requires you to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients’ needs that vary. Whilst the focus is overseeing the Early Childhood and Education courses the role would also require you to assist in supporting the Health, Science and Community Department as a whole.

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
• Demonstrated experience coordinating academic programs, providing support and supervision of teaching staff and ensuring program compliance requirements are met in alignment with University policy and ASQA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes, which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.
• Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients
• Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high-quality training and assessment materials.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to suit audience and context; builds constructive relationships with colleagues and generates ideas for improvements which includes demonstrating a high-level communication and interpersonal skills

AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education
• Relevant tertiary degree or vocational qualification including evidence of currency.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the following units:
o AELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor, OR
o TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.
o TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor, OR
o TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools OR
o TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools.
• Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
