About the Role
The Program Director Finance Modernisation will be responsible for delivering the “Finance Modernisation” program by working together with the business sponsor, vendors, technology and other business stakeholders to co-ordinate the successful delivery of this program. Key stages in this program will include requirements gathering, product selection via procurement activities (likely to include RFI and RFP), program planning, business case completion and approval, solution design, delivery and transition to Business-as-Usual operations. The role will lead a significant cross functional team due to the scale and “whole of organisation” impact of this project.
As part of the ePMO, the Program Director for Finance Modernisation will co-ordinate delivery through a Project Control Board (PCB) and will follow ePMO processes for governance, reporting and delivery. The Program Director is expected to take a consultative approach with stakeholders, including guiding and influencing parties to ensure early alignment of the business solution to strategic objectives.
