As our Senior Surveillance Technician, reporting to the Asset Protection Systems Manager, you will assist with the management of all technical systems within Asset Protection and be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operational requirements for all systems and technologies of the Asset Protection Department.

A few of your responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance programs designed to minimise system failures and ensure effectiveness of all surveillance and Security technical equipment.
• Continually review CCTV system including CCTV Workstations, Facial Recognition systems, Access Controls and ID Scanner System’s effectiveness and implement changes and enhances, as directed.
• Respond to equipment failures, in conjunction with surveillance technicians to ensure timely and effective resolution to problems with Surveillance and Security equipment.
• Contribute to the development and review of policies, procedures and practices involving surveillance equipment to deliver safe and efficient operations.
• Assist in the ongoing development of the Surveillance Technicians including training and development.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with managing CCTV installation, maintenance, repairs, and programming.
• Preferred Electrical Trade &/or Certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ Experience in IT operating systems &/or network maintenance

You are seasoned technician that has hands on electrical experience that has worked with installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV and surveillance equipment. You have worked with a range of technologies including hardwired and digital surveillance systems.
