As our Application Performance Manager, you will help to support The Star Entertainment Group’s business application portfolio and the resolution of application and system issues that arise across the greater supported business.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be collaborating with the platform delivery managers and leading the applications performance team.

 

A few of your responsibilities

  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem rectification, including system changes required to prevent a recurrence of the incident
  • Assist platform delivery managers in reviewing support initiatives, contracts and vendor agreements.
  • Provide guidance to operations staff within the broader IT Operations team
  • Performing analytical assignments and application performance improvements as required by IT management, particularly in areas of difficulty, critical need.
  • Ensuring cyber and resiliency standards are uplifted and met as per TSEG security policies.

 

 

What we are looking for

  • Ability to manage key stakeholder reactions and assess the views and positions of stakeholders on key issues
  • Ability to perform analytical assignments and application performance improvements as required by IT management, particularly in areas of difficulty, critical need.
  • Ability to lead the application performance team, in support of the IT leadership team.
  • Ability to provide input into the requirements for appropriate backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure ongoing business continuity
  • Strong Problem-solving skills and ability to "think on one's feet"

 

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our IT operations team while achieving customer satisfaction and quality of reporting.
